Thermaeye Plus IPL – Product Overview

The Thermaeye Plus is a precision Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system designed for the effective treatment of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and evaporative dry eye, with additional applications in dermatology (e.g., rosacea, vascular lesions, pigmented spots, wrinkles).

The system supports all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI), thanks to its customizable wavelength filters and fractional pulse delivery. Its compact, ergonomic design and clinician-friendly controls make it ideal for practice workflows with high patient volumes.

Special Features & Treatment Technology

Fractional Square Pulsed Technology

Allows division of each IPL shot into up to three sequential pulses for efficient energy delivery while minimizing epidermal heat buildup and reducing thermal risk. Interchangeable Filters (520 nm, 650 nm, 800 nm)

Enables customized treatments across skin types and target indications—such as vascular lesions, pigmentation, and eyelid-related dry eye conditions.

Contact Cooling System

An integrated sapphire crystal with water-based cooling maintains skin temperature control, enhancing comfort and safety during treatment—reducing risks like redness or burns.

Automatic Energy Calibration

Built-in calibration ensures each shot delivers the correct fluence for consistent results and enhanced device reliability. High-Efficiency Xenon Lamp

Provides up to 2000 treatments per lamp without cartridges or consumables, lowering long-term operating costs.
