and Components
z The MICRON M7 is designed for maximum
patient comfort.
z Straightforward optics design for precision
and predictability.
z Designed for cost-efficiency and low gas
consumption.
Treatment Options
LASIK PRK, TEpi-PRK (Transepithelial PRK) with
selectable zone sizes and Depth.
Presbyopia , PTK and optional Topography guided
Treatments (planned).
Unique Beam
Delivery Philosophy
We have redefined the traditional approach. With
the Micron M7 the patient lies still, microscope
and beam applicator moves towards the patient
on robotic arms – resulting in small system dimen-
sions, less complex mechanics, large working
distance and less dependence on environmental
influences.
REVOLUTIONARY
The first laser in refracive surgery leading the light
right to the eye via a robotic applicator.
MORE PRECISION
A combination of continuously working video eye-
tracker and docking eyepiece tracks eye move-
ments and minimizes fixation saccades.

Core Innovation & Workflow Advantage

Robotic Applicator & Auto-Centration

Laser and microscopy components automatically align and dock 80 mm from the eye. Integrated video eyetracker keeps the laser centered on the pupil in real-time; manual recentering via joystick is optional. Simplifies setup and maintains accuracy throughout procedures.

Fractional Flying-Spot Ablation

From first pulse, a randomized flying-spot method distributes energy across the treatment zone to disperse thermal impact—reducing haze risk in surface procedures like PRK and TEpi‑PRK. It also allows treatment pausing and continuation with zero repositioning error.

Controlled Plume Extraction & Sterile Zone

An integrated plume removal system near the applicator evacuates vapor at its densest point without disturbing stromal hydration. Combined with the closed-up design, it ensures clean optics and consistent laser delivery.
